Displayport To Fiber Converter with USB includes a transmitter and a receiver, which is a high-speed, HDCPcompliant fiber optic transport system capable of extending 4K/2K Displayportand USB(keyboard or mouse) signals over fiber cable while maintaining flawlessimage quality. An Displayport input and USB signals from a source device suchas a set-top box or Blue-Ray player is converted into light pulses by anoptical transmitter module for transmission over fiber optic. On the displayside, an optical receiver module converts the light pulses back to anDisplayport and USB(keyboard or mouse) signals .

The Displayport Fiber OpticExtender supports optical links using either multi-mode or single-mode fiber.These features make the equipment a powerful solution for digital displayapplications that require flawless signal quality over extremely long cableruns.
